Getting started
- Install the app — Download Expenzee from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS).
- Create an account — Sign in with the option shown in the app and complete onboarding.
- Optional (Android): SMS permission — If you allow SMS access, Expenzee can suggest expenses from bank and UPI SMS on your device. SMS is processed locally; see our Privacy Policy for details.
Track your expenses
Expenzee is built for everyday spending — groceries, bills, subscriptions, dining, rent, and one-off purchases.
- Add manually — Enter amount, category, date, and notes.
- Receipt OCR — Scan or upload a receipt; amounts and merchants are read on your device.
- SMS auto-detect (Android) — Confirmed transactions can be added from supported bank/UPI messages.
- Multi-currency — Track spends in other currencies when you need to.
In the app, trips are shared expense spaces (flatmates, dinners, weekends away). They are optional — use them whenever you split costs with others.
Trips & bill splitting
- Create or join a trip when you share expenses with friends or family.
- Log shared spends; Expenzee shows who owes whom.
- Settle using UPI via the deep links in the app when you are ready to pay.
Budgets & AI
- Set category budgets and get alerts as you approach or exceed limits.
- Use the AI assistant for questions about your spending (limits depend on your plan).
- Price comparison & recommendations — Available according to your subscription tier; see pricing on the homepage.
Web app & subscriptions
The Expenzee website / web experience is read-only for viewing where supported. Subscriptions, SMS auto-detect, and full mobile features require the app.
- To upgrade: open the app → Settings → Subscriptions. Payments go through Google Play or the App Store via RevenueCat.
Delete account & data
Request deletion of your account and data
To delete your Expenzee account and all associated personal data processed by us in the app, open the Expenzee mobile app, go to Settings → Close Account, then confirm deletion. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Your profile, expenses, trips, settlements, and related app data are removed within the timeframe described in our Privacy Policy.
If you cannot access the app (lost device, login issue, or similar), email us at atanub707@gmail.com from the email address registered on your Expenzee account, with the subject line "Account deletion request". We will verify ownership and process your request.
Export your data in the app before closing your account if you need a copy (export availability depends on your plan).
